Mahina Vegan Table welcomes walk-in guests. On busy days, however, guests have sometimes had to wait because every table was occupied, and we cannot guarantee same-day seating or a particular wait time in advance. For meals where time and seating matter—such as holidays, public holidays and special occasions—we recommend reserving through Naver or CatchTable. Window seats are assigned to guests with reservations first.

If You Arrive Without a Reservation, We Will Check the Day's Seating
Mahina Vegan Table also welcomes walk-in guests who arrive without a reservation. If a table is available and the current flow of service allows, we will prepare a seat for you. Opening hours and the times when immediate seating is possible do not mean the same thing, however. A table may appear empty but be unavailable to a walk-in guest because reserved guests are using it or will arrive shortly.
There have been days when many guests arrived at once, every table filled and walk-in guests entered only after waiting. Even if a waiting list is available, it is difficult to promise in advance that a table will open after a particular number of minutes. If you must begin the meal at a set time, or have a performance, transport or another appointment afterwards, please check the available times on Naver or CatchTable rather than relying on a walk-in seat.
Waiting Times on Busy Days Cannot Be Fixed
Seating can differ even on the same day of the week at the same time. Public holidays and long weekends, nearby events, weather, demand for special occasions and the dining time of earlier guests all have an effect. For this reason, we do not publish a fixed estimate such as a particular wait on Friday evening. When visiting as a walk-in guest, include the possibility of a wait—or of no same-day table being available—in your plan.
If your day allows you to wait, ask a member of staff about the current situation when you arrive. Please wait as directed so that the pavement or stairs remain clear. If you have another plan afterwards, decide for yourself when you would need to leave before joining the wait. We do not recommend delaying another reservation based on a prediction of when a table might open.
When Time and Seating Matter, We Recommend a Reservation
For a meal that would be difficult to reschedule—a birthday, anniversary, reunion or a single special evening during your trip—a reservation is the clearest preparation. Check available dates and times in advance, especially for holidays, public holidays and days likely to be busy. You may still visit without a reservation, but the possibility that no table will be available at your preferred time remains.
A reservation reduces the chance of waiting and helps Mahina Vegan Table prepare for the number of guests and the table. It does not remove traffic delays or every same-day variable. Check the date, time, party size and reservation name on the confirmation screen, and follow the guidance shown by the service you used if you may be late.
Window Seats Are Assigned to Reserved Guests First
Window seats are assigned to guests with reservations first. When you arrive as a walk-in guest, a window table may be prepared for a reserved party arriving soon even if another seat is available. In that case, we will guide you to a table that is currently available. If a window seat matters for the meal, reserve through Naver or CatchTable and add the request to your booking.
A reservation and seating request do not confirm a particular window table. We assign seats according to party sizes, table sizes, the service order and operations on the day. A reservation gives priority in the allocation of window seating; it is distinct from a promise of a specific table number.
Use the Appropriate Reservation Service in Korea or from Overseas
Regular table reservations are not accepted by telephone. For reservations made in Korea, use Naver Booking or CatchTable’s Korean service; for reservations from overseas, use CatchTable International. Select the date, time, and party size, then confirm that the booking is complete.
The telephone number can be used for directions or necessary enquiries, but a call alone does not confirm a standard reservation. Current availability must be checked on the reservation service's screen. If payment or cancellation terms appear, read the latest terms on that booking screen and keep the confirmation.
Parties of 10 or More Require Advance Consultation in Addition to a Reservation
Standard reservations and consultation for group service have different roles. Parties of 5 or more should reserve in advance whenever possible. Parties of 10 or more should also contact us by telephone or through the enquiry form before visiting, with the party size, preferred menu format and arrival time. A reply to an enquiry is part of confirming what can be prepared; the reply alone does not complete the reservation.
Groups of 20 or more need to begin discussing the visit about one month in advance. We may be unable to accept the group because of existing reservations or insufficient preparation time, and a contract and advance payment may apply after consultation. Specific group conditions vary by gathering, so keep them separate from the standard walk-in guidance and prepare in the order set out in our article on group visits.
Keep the Address and Reservation Information Together Before You Arrive
The address is 2F, 75 Nonhyeon-ro 175-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Before leaving, keep the reservation date and time, party size and reservation name together on one screen, and note that the restaurant is on the 2nd floor. You can use Naver Map directions from Exit 8 of Sinsa Station or Exit 5 of Apgujeong Station.
A difference between the reservation name and the actual party size, or widely separated arrival times within the party, can affect table preparation. If a change is needed, first check the functions and guidance in the reservation service you used. Options may be limited if a change is requested for the first time on arrival.
Choose a Walk-in Visit or Reservation to Suit Your Schedule
A walk-in visit can work when your time is flexible and you can accept the seating situation on the day. A reservation is more appropriate when you must begin at a set time, hope for window seating, or are planning an important day such as a holiday or anniversary. In either case, we will explain what is possible according to the current seats and flow of service without overstating availability.
Whether or not you reserve, check opening hours and last order again on the day of your visit. Lunch and dinner hours are separate from Monday to Saturday, and the restaurant is closed on Sunday. For a walk-in visit close to last order, even when a seat is available, we must also check whether enough ordering time remains.
