The short answer
For 5 or more guests, we recommend making a reservation whenever possible. For 10 or more, please also contact us by phone or through the enquiry form before your visit to coordinate the schedule and menu format, separately from your Naver or CatchTable reservation. Groups of 20–30 should enquire about one month in advance; depending on existing reservations and the preparation time available, we may be unable to accommodate the group. For 20 or more guests, a written agreement and prepayment may be required after advance consultation.
What this story explores
- For 5 or more guests, a reservation is recommended. For 10 or more, both a Naver or CatchTable reservation and advance coordination by phone or enquiry form are required.
- Groups of 20–30 should begin coordinating about one month in advance, and we may be unable to accept the booking depending on existing reservations and preparation time.
- For groups of 20 or more, a written agreement and prepayment are used only when necessary after advance consultation; the amount and terms are confirmed in writing.
Into the story
For 5 or More Guests, Please Reserve in Advance Whenever Possible
From 5 guests onward, arranging tables where everyone can sit together becomes more important than simply finding a few vacant seats. Please reserve in advance whenever possible and enter the exact number of guests so that we can prepare an appropriate table arrangement. If you need child seating or have mobility requirements, let us know when booking or making an advance enquiry, and we will explain what we can accommodate.
If one party books under several names, it may not be immediately clear that the reservations belong to the same group. Please use the name and contact details of one lead guest, and if the bookings are split, send us the reservation numbers and total guest count together. If the number may change, including the date by which it will be confirmed will help us assess the table arrangement.
For 10 or More Guests, Both a Reservation and Advance Coordination Are Required
For 10 or more guests, separate advance coordination by phone or enquiry form is required even after completing a Naver or CatchTable reservation. We will confirm the total number of guests, start time, course or à la carte format, how the group will arrive, and what can be prepared. A reply to an enquiry does not by itself complete a reservation.
Please select the menu in advance if possible. When a large group chooses simultaneously at the restaurant, confirming the order and beginning service can take longer. In your first message, tell us whether you prefer a course or à la carte meal, whether the group can choose the same menu, and whether anyone has individual dietary restrictions. This allows us to explain the most practical service format for the day.
For 20–30 Guests, Begin Coordinating About One Month in Advance
A gathering of 20 or more requires substantially more preparation than an ordinary table reservation. Please enquire from about one month before your preferred date. If other guests are already booked at the same time or the preparation period is too short, we may be unable to accept the group even if we stop taking additional reservations. Choosing a date or announcing it to attendees does not confirm use of the restaurant.
After checking whether the group can be accommodated and what preparation is needed, we will explain the next steps. Before telling attendees that the event is final, please confirm both the completed reservation screen and the details agreed with us for the group. As the date approaches, menu preparation, staffing and adjustments to other reservations become more difficult, so please tell us about changes to the time or guest count as early as possible.
Understand the Separate Roles of a Standard Reservation and Group Coordination
Standard table reservations are made through Naver or CatchTable. Phone calls and the enquiry form do not replace that reservation; they are separate channels for discussing capacity, menu format and arrival details for groups of 10 or more. If your group needs both steps, please retain the completed reservation screen and our enquiry response.
Our response may explain what can be prepared and any additional conditions that still need to be confirmed. Do not treat the fact that you received a reply as confirmation of the reservation; check that you have both a completed reservation screen and every follow-up step requested during group coordination. If a written agreement is required, as may be the case for groups of 20 or more, preparation can begin only after the written process is complete.
We Announce in Advance When a Large Booking Affects Service
When a group of 20 or more visits at the same time, we may restrict additional reservations. Walk-in guests may still arrive, so when service is expected to differ from usual, we will provide the necessary notice in advance on our website or Instagram. This helps both the group and other visitors understand what service will be available.
Please arrange for the group to arrive as close as possible to the agreed start time. If the group leader decides in advance how orders should proceed for early arrivals and latecomers, the meal can begin more smoothly. If arrival times are expected to vary considerably, tell us during advance coordination rather than on the day.

Written Agreements and Prepayment Apply When Needed after Advance Consultation
For a group of 20 or more, a written agreement and prepayment may be required depending on the outcome of advance consultation. The agreement records the details relevant to that gathering, such as the confirmed guest count, menu, service time, changes and cancellation, and payment schedule. This article does not set one payment amount or refund policy for every gathering.
When an agreement is required, the group representative should review the written terms we provide. Final preparation proceeds after the required prepayment has been completed. A phone conversation or a partial exchange of messages does not establish the contractual terms. If anything changes, please review the existing written terms and the adjustments that may be possible.

Send All the Information We Need in Your First Enquiry
In one message, please include your preferred date and start time, estimated guest count and confirmation date, lead guest’s name, preference for a course or à la carte meal, whether advance menu selection is possible, exact dietary restrictions, how the group will arrive, and contact details for our reply. Make the standard reservation through Naver or CatchTable; operational coordination for groups of 10 or more continues by phone or through the enquiry form.
It is easier to connect all confirmed conditions accurately when one representative continues a single conversation, rather than dividing information across several channels. If the guest count or time changes, include both the previous and revised details. We will distinguish what has been confirmed from anything that still requires review.
Planning a Group Visit
- Is a Reservation Mandatory for 5 Guests?
- Mahina Vegan Table recommends reserving whenever possible for groups of 5 or more. Please enter the exact guest count so that we can arrange one table and prepare service smoothly.
- What Should a Group of 10 or More Do?
- In addition to a Naver or CatchTable reservation, please coordinate the guest count, menu format and arrival details by phone or through the enquiry form before your visit.
- If We Enquire One Month Ahead for 20 or More Guests, Is the Booking Guaranteed?
- No. We may be unable to accept the group depending on existing reservations and preparation time. Mahina Vegan Table must first confirm capacity, and all required follow-up steps must be completed.
- Is Prepayment Always Required?
- No single condition applies in every case. After advance consultation, a group of 20 or more may require a written agreement and prepayment; the specific terms are set out in writing for that gathering.
Send the date, time, guest count, menu format, dietary restrictions and lead contact details together.
