The short answer
Please send your preferred date and time, total party size, booking name, preference for a course or à la carte menu, specific dietary requirements and allergies, and a telephone number for our reply in one message. Standard reservations are confirmed through Naver or CatchTable. Parties of 10 or more also need to make arrangements in advance by telephone or through the enquiry form. A reply to an enquiry does not by itself complete a reservation.
What this story explores
- Completing a standard reservation and making advance arrangements by telephone or enquiry form are separate procedures.
- For dietary requirements, tell us the specific ingredients that must be avoided and the degree of cross-contact prevention required, rather than relying on a general label.
- Parties of 10 or more should discuss the menu format and arrival details in advance. For parties of 20 or more, a written agreement and advance payment may be required following the initial consultation.
Into the story
State the purpose of your enquiry in the first line
Begin the enquiry form with the main purpose, such as ‘visit for a party of 10’, ‘dietary requirement check’ or ‘partnership or media enquiry’. Starting a telephone enquiry in the same way helps the team identify what needs to be checked. If you have several questions, number them and separate each point.
If you only need to check availability for a standard table, please look at the current Naver or CatchTable reservation page first. Telephone and enquiry-form replies do not replace confirmation through those reservation systems. We use them to arrange visits for parties of 10 or more and to discuss requirements that cannot be resolved from the public booking page alone.
Put the date, time and party size on one line
Please provide the preferred date and start time, the total number of guests including adults and children, and the lead guest’s name. A precise entry such as ‘[month] [day], [time], [total number] guests’ is less open to misunderstanding than ‘next weekend evening’. If several dates are possible, list them in order of preference.
If the party size is not yet final, provide the expected minimum and maximum numbers and the date by which you will confirm them. If guests will arrive at different times or in several vehicles, include the expected first and final arrival times. We consider this information when reviewing seating and the flow of service.
Name the ingredients that must be avoided
Statements such as ‘I have an allergy’ or ‘I follow a Buddhist temple diet’ do not define the required precautions precisely enough. List the ingredients each guest must avoid and, for an allergy, tell us whether trace cross-contact and shared utensils or work surfaces must also be avoided. A menu being 100% plant-based and being safe for a particular allergy are separate matters.
When several requirements apply, separate them by guest—for example, ‘Guest A: peanut allergy; cross-contact must also be avoided / Guest B: no five pungent vegetables’. We will distinguish what has been confirmed from conditions we may be unable to meet. Please mention any important allergy again before ordering on the day of your visit.
Group arrangements vary with party size
For parties of 5 or more, we recommend reserving through Naver or CatchTable where possible. Parties of 10 or more should also discuss the number of guests, menu format and arrival details with us in advance by telephone or enquiry form. Confirming what may be possible through an enquiry does not complete the standard reservation, so please also check the reservation confirmation screen separately.
Visits by parties of 20–30 need to be discussed about one month in advance, and we may be unable to accommodate them depending on existing reservations and preparation time. For parties of 20 or more, a written agreement and advance payment may be required following the initial consultation. The amount and change conditions are not identical for every gathering; the relevant terms are confirmed in writing for that specific event before proceeding.

Leave a reply number and tell us when you need an answer
When using the enquiry form, include the lead guest’s name, a telephone number for our reply and when you need an answer. Sending parts of the same enquiry through several channels can make it difficult to connect them to one visit, so it is best for one representative to continue in a single conversation. If anything changes, state what differs from the information previously provided.
After receiving a reply from Mahina Vegan Table, compare the confirmed date, time, party size, menu format and dietary requirements with your own details. If anything still needs clarification, continue the conversation with that specific question. When both advance group arrangements and a standard reservation are required, keep a separate record of the status of each procedure.
Use this order so we can review everything together
Purpose of enquiry: / Preferred date and start time: / Expected or confirmed party size: / Lead guest’s name: / Course or à la carte preference: / Whether the menu can be chosen in advance: / Specific ingredients to avoid: / Required level of cross-contact prevention: / Arrival details: / Telephone number for our reply: / When an answer is needed:. Standard reservations are made through Naver or CatchTable. For parties of 10 or more, use this information to continue the separate advance-arrangement process.
Write ‘not applicable’ beside any item that does not apply in the copied form. Before sending the enquiry, recheck the numbers in the date, party size and telephone number. If you have already completed a reservation, also provide the booking name and confirmed date and time. We will explain what can be accommodated based on the information received and current operating conditions.

When calling or using the enquiry form
- Can a standard reservation be confirmed by telephone or enquiry form?
- No. A standard reservation is confirmed on the Naver or CatchTable completion screen. Telephone and the enquiry form are used for advance arrangements for parties of 10 or more, or for questions requiring a separate check.
- For a party of 10 or more, is completing the reservation screen enough?
- In addition to the Naver or CatchTable reservation, please discuss the party size, menu format and arrival details with us by telephone or enquiry form before your visit. The two procedures serve different purposes.
- How should I explain dietary requirements?
- List the specific ingredients each guest must avoid and the level of cross-contact prevention required. Please mention any important allergy again before ordering on the day of your visit.
- Are the agreement and advance-payment terms always the same for parties of 20 or more?
- No. These conditions may apply depending on the advance consultation, and the specific terms are confirmed in the written information for that gathering.
Send the date, time, party size, menu format, dietary requirements and reply telephone number together.
