A new tenderloin steak is now on the menu at Mahina Vegan Table. We grill a vegan tenderloin steak and serve it with house-made gravy, house-made lingonberry sauce and vegan mayonnaise.

Three sauces to accompany the tenderloin steak

We make the gravy and lingonberry sauce in our kitchen. Lingonberries are tart red berries, which we prepare as a sauce to accompany the steak. Our mayonnaise is a vegan sauce made without eggs.

The steak, sauces and accompaniments contain no animal-derived ingredients, including milk, eggs or butter. Everything is prepared with 100% plant-based ingredients.

Roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes

The steak comes with mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus, king oyster mushrooms and white button mushrooms. We also serve cauliflower, shallots and cherry tomatoes, with fresh thyme, dill, red chili and paprika powder.

Gluten-free and nut-free ordering information

We plan to offer a gluten-free ordering option for the tenderloin steak. Vegan means avoiding animal-derived ingredients, while gluten-free means avoiding gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley and rye, among other grains.

Nut-free means not using tree nuts such as almonds, walnuts or cashews. Gluten-free and nut-free are different requirements. If you need to avoid specific ingredients, such as tree nuts or peanuts, please tell our staff which ingredients you avoid before ordering and ask whether your order can be prepared accordingly, including the steak, sauces and accompaniments.
